In the course of providing legal services, the Law Firm also processes personal data received from other data controllers. In such cases, the controller is the client on whose behalf the Law Firm acts.
For what purpose are your personal data processed?
Your data will be processed for the following purposes:
- Preparation and response to your inquiry sent via the contact form – as the processing is necessary to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Conclusion and performance of a contract to which you are a party, particularly for issuing a VAT invoice – as the processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Debt recovery – based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, where processing is necessary for the purposes of legitimate interests pursued by the controller.
- Compliance with legal obligations imposed on the Law Firm in connection with conducting business activities – based on Article 6(1)(c) GDPR, as processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the controller is subject.
- Direct marketing – based on the legitimate interests of the controller (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Sending commercial information electronically, pursuant to Article 10(2) of the Act of 18 July 2002 on the provision of electronic services (consolidated text: Journal of Laws of 2017, item 1219, as amended) – based on separately obtained consent.
- Using telecommunications terminal equipment and automated calling systems for direct marketing purposes, pursuant to Article 172 of the Act of 16 July 2004 Telecommunications Law (consolidated text: Journal of Laws of 2017, item 1907, as amended) – based on granted consent.

- Providers of IT systems/software and IT services for the Law Firm.
2. Entities providing services essential for maintaining the website of the Law Firm.
3. Public authorities, institutions, or third parties authorized to request access to or receive personal data under mandatory legal provisions.
4. The accounting firm handling the Law Firm’s bookkeeping.
5. Postal operators managing the Law Firm’s correspondence.
Additionally, in the course of providing legal services, the Law Firm may share personal data with courts, prosecutor’s offices, and other law enforcement agencies, as well as state and local government administrative bodies, bailiffs, notaries, tax advisors, restructuring advisors (insolvency administrators), and translators.
For how long are personal data processed?
Your personal data will be processed:
- For the duration of correspondence initiated by an inquiry submitted via the contact form – until its conclusion.
2. For the period necessary to perform the legal service agreement, including after its execution, to allow the parties to exercise their rights under the agreement and for any potential debt recovery – until the expiration of the statute of limitations for your claims.
3. Until the withdrawal of consent or submission of an objection to data processing – in cases where your personal data is processed based on separate consent or under Article 6(1)(e) or (f) of the GDPR, including for direct marketing purposes.
Providing your personal data is voluntary but necessary for:
1. Preparing and responding to your inquiry submitted via the contact form. Failure to provide data will result in the Law Firm being unable to handle your inquiry.
2. Concluding and performing a legal service agreement. Failure to provide data will result in the inability to enter into the agreement.

You have the right to:
- Request from the Law Firm access to your personal data, its rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, or its transfer.
2. Object to the processing of your personal data, as well as withdraw consent at any time. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out based on consent before its withdrawal.
3. File a complaint with the supervisory authority (i.e., the President of the Personal Data Protection Office) if you believe that the processing of your personal data by the Law Firm violates the law.
